Object description

The studio is located in a two-story house and is partially accessible. The parking spots in front of the house are on a slight slope, but there is enough space in front of the entrance for a car. Access is possible to the reception desk on the ground floor while the upper level is only accessible via the stairs.

Adaptations

1. People with mobility impairments:
2. The main entrance to the building is accessible,
3. There is sufficient room to manoeuvre indoors,
4. The exhibited items in the exhibition spaces are placed at a suitable height.
5. People with visual impairments:
6. There are no abrupt transitions from light to dark spaces in the building,
7. The edges of the changes of level have contrasting visual markings.
8. People with hearing impairments:
9. The reception desk is adequately lit and enables lip-reading and interpreting facial expressions.

Deficiencies

1. People with mobility impairments:
2. The height of the reception desk is not adapted to wheelchair users,
3. The building does not have a lift,
4. The building does not have accessible sanitary facilities.
5. People with visual impairments:
6. The entrance to the building is not easily recognizable,
7. The glazed glass doors do not have contrasting visual markings,
8. The edges of stairs do not have contrasting visual markings.
9. People with hearing impairments:
10. The reception desk is not equipped with an induction loop.
