Object description

The castle is inaccessible for wheelchair users and partially accessible for people with other impairments. The access path from the car park to the castle does not enable independent use for wheelchair users, as it is 130 m long, unfirm (gravel) and on an incline. The reception counter, shop, chapel at the main entrance are only accessible via two steps. The exhibition spaces on the ground floor are accessible directly from the castle courtyard. There are high thresholds or stairs in front of entrances that are not adequately addressed. One of the spaces is a small hall with moveable seating. The first floor of the castle with the wedding hall and other exhibition spaces is only accessible via stairs. The halls are not equipped with an induction loop. Access to the castle tavern is also only possible via stairs, while the castle terrace is partially accessible from the outside of the castle (due to unsuitable paving). The castle courtyard paving is too rough and prevents independent wheelchair use. The castle does not have accessible sanitary facilities; the sanitary facilities are accessible from the castle courtyard via stairs.

3. The building main entrance is not accessible (due to the steep gravel access path),
4. The back castle entrance from the terrace is not accessible (due to stairs to the atrium),
5. The access path to the main entrance is too steep and inadequately paved,
6. The changes of level and thresholds of interior doors are not adequately addressed,
7. The building does not have a lift,
8. The height of the reception desk is not adapted to wheelchair users,
9. The building does not have accessible sanitary facilities,
10. The exhibited items in the exhibition spaces are not placed at suitable heights.
11. People with visual impairments:
12. Orientation around the building is impeded, there is no tactile map at the entrance for orientation around the castle,
13. There are abrupt transitions from light to dark spaces in the building,
14. None of the exhibited items enable tactile exploration of the exhibited material.

16. The hall and the wedding hall are not equipped with an induction loop.
