Object description

The library is partially accessible. There is a ramp along the stairs leading to the entrance. The ground floor features an library counter, the adult’s section and a reading room with sufficient room to manoeuvre. The sanitary facilities are only partially adapted. The building does not have a lift. The first floor with the children’s section and the study room are only accessible via the stairs. The spaces are adequately lit.

9. The library counter is adequately lit and enables lip-reading and interpreting facial expressions.

Deficiencies

3. The height of the library counter is not adapted to wheelchair users,
4. The accessible sanitary facilities are not suitably adapted (improperly installed movable handrail).

6. The edges of stairs do not have contrasting visual markings.

9. The counter on the first floor is positioned with windows behind it.
