Object description

The library is easily accessible. Parking is provided as part of city parking. Stairs are located in the foyer near the entrance; to the right, the path leads to a lift enabling access to upper floors for wheelchair users. A copy and print shop is located to the right of the stairs employing members of Sončna Pot (Sunny Path), a company offering vocational training and employment to people with disabilities. The Glazer Hall is located on the first floor next to the library spaces. Its first rows have moveable seating and it is equipped with an induction loop. There is sufficient room to manoeuvre in the library spaces and they are adequately lit. The library offers adapted materials and magnifiers for easier reading. There are no accessible sanitary facilities in the main building. The entrance to the reading room is separate and is located to the right of the main building. The main entrance is only accessible via stairs, so wheelchair users can use the entrance with a ramp that is unsuitable due to insufficient room to manoeuvre and an excessive gradient. There are accessible sanitary facilities next to the reading room.
